Car tuning question for going on vacation..?
Me and my girlfriends are going to be going on a trip to Tennesee in about a week and were driving. We live in about the middle of Florida, so it is quite a drive. I drive a toyota corrolla, 2003, so it is very sturdy, but pushing 100,000 miles. I have a warranty until then, but I was just wondering, besides an oil change, what would be smart to do to tune it up to be ready. Like should I take it to a shop and get a full tune up? And prices/estimates would be great if you have them. THANKS!
The question is how is the vehicle running and when was the last tune up? If everything is running well and you have had a tune up recently, everything should be fine. Check the oil and transmission fluids. Check your coolant and check that you have the proper tire inflation and that you don’t have any worn out tires.
