Dog Trailers for cars….cannot afford one of those posh trailers Ive just seen on the internet.?
Has anyone out there ever made their own dog trailer for their car. Something simple is all i need, maybe made of iron or wood or something, any ideas please. Would be great to never have to put my dogs in the car again. If you have made one yourself please give me the DIY guide. UK
Cannot help you on this one. My dogs ride in crates in my vehicle.
I have seen so many different contraptions pull up at dog shows and herding trials that I wish I’d have taken pictures!
I’ve seen dogs kept underneath in the luggage compartments of a old greyhound bus.
One guy had a home made trailer made out of a pick up camper shell being pulled behind a 1975 Chevy Vega.
Another guy’s windshield was so full of Mastiff slobber the parking attendants on the show grounds had to flag him into a spot so the guy could tell how far to pull in.
