Is it possible to use a car-audio amp as a guitar or PA amp?
I was in Radio Shack today looking around and I realized how much cheaper it is for a car-audio amp with upwards of 800 watts than it is for a guitar amp or PA system power amp with less or equal power. I know that the car systems use 12 volts and probably need more amp.’s than you can get from a wall outlet, but is there a way to build a cheap, DIY, PA system if i ran a mixer into a car-audio amp and speakers out of it?
if you can get a 12 volt power supply then it will work.
